Panderz

His name is as original as he is!

Today I had the honor of talking to Panderz and asked him if he

wouldn’t mind doing a quick interview and he graciously agreed.

So, I introduce to you, the adorable and amazing Panderz!

First of all, thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us! We appreciate it!

If you GOOGLE “Panderz” the list of entries is ENDLESS. You are literally everywhere! Vine, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and YouTube.  Where did you first start?

-Originally I only had Vine, Instagram, and Twitter. Over time I decided to make a YouTube to further my audience but I’ve never made a Tumblr for Panderz! Instagram is what took off first and then everything else followed.

Panda’s are very popular according to fan girls everywhere.  What made you choose that as your signature?

-I honestly don’t know why I chose a Panda. It just kind of happened to pop in my head and I went with it! 

What is your favorite part of Meet and Greets?

-My favorite part about meet and greets is finally meeting the people I’ve been interacting with over media and putting a face to the usernames who I’ve watched support me whether it was from the beginning or from whenever they joined the family. I also really enjoy messing with who’s ever in line by making them dance with me or petting their head, just goofing around.

Did you know that people actively search for replica’s of your costume?  It’s true, I read it on the internet…seriously tho, they really do.  How does that make you feel?

– People ask me all the time where I got it so I figured people would probably look it up haha! But between me and you.. they don’t even make the costume anymore but regardless I never say where I got it from, its a Panderz trade secret.

According to the fans I talk to, you are loved because of your originality and ability to make awkward adorable. Personally, I think this is true, would you agree?

– I’m just being me. I try to express myself the best I can through all my actions due to Panderz’s inability to speak since it might give away a few things.. But I just try to give back the love and support they give me.

Your following increases on a daily basis. What is, or what would you like, your message to your followers to be? 

-My most important message is that being normal is boring. Being different is something to be proud of. People shouldn’t have to pretend to be someone they’re not just to fit into “society norms”. I struggled for awhile with trying to meet peoples expectations of me. I just got completely stressed with always trying to be what I thought everyone wanted. Someone one day just told me to “Be You” and honestly those two simple words changed everything for me. I just want them to feel accepted the way they are because they deserve it… they deserve the world and much more. I love this little family that has been created and I always will even after Panderz ends.

One more thing, are you doing any meet ups during playlist?

-I’m not exactly sure what I’m doing just yet or where I’ll be but I’ll be running around, so just be on the lookout for a wild panda!

Playlist Live | 2015

Playlist Live is BACK!

The countdown has officially started until Playlist Live Orlando, which is in 8 days. Playlist Live is one of the biggest events of the year for youtubers, social media stars, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and fans alike. With a business day on Friday and two days of meet-ups and main-stage events, the weekend of February 6-8, 2015 is going to be unforgettable for thousands of people from across the country.

Tickets for the event have sold out, however, live streaming will be available through the website at Playlist.com  The event will be held February 6-8, 2015 at the Orlando World Center Marriott. The website also provides a full schedule of the weekend and links to hotels and transportation.
